Alan Leeson was a prolific football writer who helped establish important north-west football institutions such as the football record and the NWFU ‘200 club’. Leeson made a lasting contribution to the history of Tasmanian football in editing and co-researching Century of Tasmanian Football with Ken Pinchin (dec).
