Len Lewis was a strong and dominant full back who controlled that position for nearly a decade at City, including during their golden state premiership era under Roy Cazaly and Hec Smith from 1928 to 1932. Lewis began his career in 1923 and was a shining light for the club during some lean years, representing Tasmania at the 1927 National Carnival.
