David and Wendell Langmaid are the first partners in football to be inducted into the Hall of Fame for their overall contribution to Tasmanian football. David’s 277 games with the Burnie Tigers is the club record and given the merger in recent years, one that will never be broken. David still assists the Burnie Dockers with fundraising and other tasks around the club.

Wendell Langmaid had an initial stint as treasurer of Burnie FC Ladies Committee in 1968 and then returned in 1980 to the role that she has maintained ever since. Wendell has also been club treasurer and a general committee member. Wendell continues her voluntary work, organising catering and fundraising at the Burnie Dockers.

Both David and Wendell Langmaid are life members of the Burnie Football Club.
